How To Prevent Obesity Conditions.

Obesity and the associated Obesity conditions are a growing concern to our society today.

The solutions on how to avoid obesity and the diseases that are often associated with the condition are in reality quite simple.

Your success in Winning The Weight Battle is really all about focusing on the right things:

1. Understand the reasons that have led to your current state.
2. Accept and take ownership of these things.

So for now lets forget about diets, detox’s, joining the gym or whatever else you have been thinking about, and get down to the nitty gritty of where the real problem is.

Your first step in Winning The Weight Battle is to:

• Understand what it is that causes you to eat.
• Look at the triggers that cause you to eat WHAT you eat.
• Same again for how much you eat.

What has happened is that your mind has taken over control from your body in deciding when, what and how much you will eat. Your body was created with a set of triggers that told your brain when to eat and how much. In its earliest form it is a baby crying.

As you have become exposed to different food types, and experienced food in many different settings and locations, you have developed certain patterns that have become very strong habits. Things like eating biscuits with your tea or coffee, ice cream with chocolate topping, or perhaps a mars bar with a can of coke…

Other habits are that you might always eat a bag of chips in the car, you always have eat while you are on the phone, morning tea always involves a pastry of some description etc.

And finally the volume you eat might be controlled by the McDonalds attendant that offers you to supersize, the fact that you open a packet of biscuits means you MUST finish them, and you find some way of justifying that.


Your 2nd step for Winning The Weight Battle is:

To acknowledge that these are the types of decisions that you do actually make and justify.

You need to accept that they are decisions of choice not of need. And you must confront them before you can truly expect to alter them.

Then and only then is it relevant to look at how you will make the lifestyle change to your eating habits that must become your new set of eating habits for life.

These are the 2 key steps for you to take If you are to succeed in winning the weight battle and avoid the types of diseases caused by obesity.

This is a crucial time. You must go through this process, however if you dwell on it for too long you may never get to the stage of losing weight.

The best way to tackle this process is simply to make a journal of EVERYTHING you eat for 2 or 3 days. No more than a week. You should get a good idea in a few days. It would be much better to be totally accurate for one whole day, than it would to be missing lots of food items each day but have a 7 day journal.

Your objective is simply to identify what you eat, when you eat it and how much. Then you can sit down for an hour or so and think about the circumstances that surrounded those actions. And then ask yourself is that something I do by habit every day? I am sure you will find it quite revealing, and then you will be ready to move onto stage three. Planning your approach.
